9.26.09 - 9.27.09 - Elliot Hosts a Wrench Day!

"I’m hosting a wrench day (weekend perhaps). Starting Saturday, which will likely continue Sunday.
Mostly consisting on replacing the top end of James’ scoo-ped. Also, I hope to tune my pacer finally and see if it will break 70… kph perhaps.

All are welcome, drink my beer and use my tools. if you don’t need to work on a bike, feel free to stop by anyway and hang out."

switcHANDsignal is a tightly knit group of moped junkies in Pittsburgh, PA. We took our name from one of the oldest companies in the city, who make the switches and signals that you see when a train changes tracks.

We love a hot cup of coffee before a late night ride, long rides through the park, and meeting with friends for brunch on Sundays.

When one member is having moped troubles, the others swarm over to their house. We watch Sixteen Candles, eat a gallon of Dave and Andy's ice cream straight from the carton (our favorite is Berry Crumble Vanilla), and cry openly to let the wounds heal. Then we crack out the PBR tall boys and get to work.

We love to ride, and do so almost every day until it gets too cold to bear.
